ACTIVITIES
Encore Academy encourages a multi-faceted approach that includes opportunities for dance, tumbling,
performance, peer leadership, community fundraisers, and field trips.
We are OSAA Members and our students benefit from after-school sports through local public schools.
DANCE CLASSES
The Academy offers weekly study of tap, ballet, and jazz dance classes with our professional, award-winning instructors. We offer beginning through advanced level courses plus elective classes can include lyrical, hip hop, cheer, and musical theatre.
TUMBLING CLASSES
Students learn to defy gravity in our state-of-the-art tumbling gym with our certified, accomplished, and caring instructors who value both safety and excellence.
STAGE PERFORMANCES
Academy students perform twice per year on our community's grandest stages. In December, we perform our Holiday Spectacular at the Liberty Theater. In June, we complete the year with our Annual Spring Showcase at the Seaside Convention Center. In addition to our regular program, the Academy also provides opportunities for its students to audition for thE Company, Competition Teams, and our bi-annual Disneyland performance.
STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM
The Academy prepares its students for responsibility, various leadership roles, and peer accountability through a formal student election process which culminates in organizing student events such as Spirit Days and Holiday Parties.
TUITION FUNDRAISERS
Academy students earn a sense of belonging, and gain self-confidence by working within their community to raise money for their own tuition.
FIELD TRIPS
The Encore Shuttle provides fun field trips to our North Coast beaches, local national parks, and other key locations for recreation and discovery outside of the classroom.
